Some Brides want more than the Basic DJ - Announcer.
How does an advanced planning wedding reception work?
A private video demo and consultation is encouraged.
Below is a sampling of what is available if you choose to have a DJ-Entertainer-Master of Ceremonies Combo.
Prices are given after we determine the scope and nature of your event.
1) Cocktail hour music-how song choices make a
huge impact on the entire night. Want wireless sound?
2) The opening choice of music once the doors to the ballroom open.
From
Michael Jackson Wanna Be Startin' Something to Pinks-Get the Party
Started...your choices are limitless.
3) How to segue from the doors opening to the intros.
We'll give you awesome suggestions to get the party kicked in gear
4) The various styles of intros. From scripted bios to high energy dance tracks
with
props to low key jazz tunes.
How they greatly impact the feel of the event.
5) Why Having an assistant play the music and start at hot spots while I MC from
the door is
way better than just one person performing
multiple tasks.
6) What are we doing right after intros. I offer multiple
ideas.
7) What are we doing right after the first dance. BTW...any sound beds or vocals
over laid into the first dance?
8 ) Educating the Best man on the toast-how to use a Mic. Make sure all the
staff is in the know of what's going on. Any bumper tracks going to be played
during his speech?
9) Same for Father-Daughter dances. Are we doing a video slide show during this?
Does dad want to tell his story of his lovely daughter growing up and ask her to
dance in front of the room causing emotion As well as
others?
10) Dinner. Are we calling tables if it's a buffet? If so, here are several
options...pick one.
11) Do you have a centerpiece to give away? Need ideas to
engage the crowd to give it away?
12) How many people actually MC the cake cutting? Maybe tell the history of why
wedding cakes are used? Or do you just announce "were cutting the cake"
13) Dance time - Do you want to use a hook to fill the floor or just play music.
I explain the various hooks "no not the Electric slide or multiplication Dance"
to fill the floor vs. just opening it. How some crowds
need it while others don't.
14) Working the crowd with an MC while guests dance or just play music.
15) Bouquet Toss or Presentation. Many brides hate the
bouquet toss because of cheesy Deejays doing stupid human tricks. I
suggest various alternatives.
16) How to properly end the event on a high. When the last song plays...have
everyone clapping and asking for more. I educate how the stage is set to pull
this off.
You see I approach a wedding like a movie. Each part of
the wedding is a scene. My job as the producer and director is to create and
direct the set with my B&G as the stars and their guests as extras.
